From the December 17 newsletter from the office of Cheri Bryant Hamilton, District 5 Councilwoman:

Metro Parks and Recreation will offer adjusted Community Center hours and free activities for kids from Monday, December 21 to Thursday, December 31 while most Jefferson County Public Schools and Archdiocese of Louisville schools are on winter break.

Those activities can be found in a special Holiday Program Guide created by Metro Parks and Recreation and posted online at www.bestparksever.com. They include free basketball camps operated by former University of Louisville player Robbie Valentine, dive-in movies at the Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center, holiday parties and movies operated at individual centers and more.
