On Saturday March 7th, the West Louisville FoodPort Community Council welcomes you to learn more about the FoodPort project, and food-based economic development in Louisville. Please join us; all are welcome! This project was formerly referred to as the West Louisville Food Hub and is about the proposed use for the vacant lot at 30th & W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.

 

10:30a – Video streaming of TEDxManhattan will begin; coffee will be provided by Heine Bros.
11:00a – Welcome, by Community Council member Mike White
11:15a – TEDxManhattan presentation by Seed Capital KY Co-Founder Stephen Reily
11:45a – Mayor Fischer presents the Metro perspective
12:00p – Boxed Lunches (available for the first 150 attendees) & Break
12:30p – FoodPort Overview by Seed Capital KY Co-Founder Caroline Heine
1:00p – Meet the Businesses Q&A, Moderated by Community Council member Russell Goodwin
2:00p – Conclude

There is street parking, as well as parking in the school lot behind the building. Entrance to the auditorium is on 22nd St.
