Louisville Central Community Centers has raised more than $10 million to fund to redevelop facilities at its headquarters at 13th Street and West Muhammad Ali Boulevard.

The renovations include a nearly completed 19,000-square-foot small-business incubator. As it stands, the building is mostly empty, with spaces to be fitted out as offices for 12 to 15 companies.

The nonprofit needs about $140,000 more to finish the incubator space and open it for businesses, said Sam Watkins Jr., president and CEO of LCCC. "We are awful close to making it happen."
