Help transform Louisville’s Muhammad Ali Boulevard into a vibrant business, commercial & cultural corridor!!

Muhammad Ali Boulevard west of Sixth Street once contained thriving businesses, professional offices, restaurants and entertainment venues, leaving its mark on the hearts of locals and visitors alike.

Our vision is to re-establish this sense of place and create an even greater connection between our community’s thriving downtown business district and west Louisville. Our goal is to create jobs and improve our City’s overall economic condition.

How can I help?

Join Louisville Central Community Centers, Inc., & the American Institute of Architects, as we present:

The Boulevard West of Ninth’s Sustainable Design Assessment Team (SDAT) Project: a local community planning effort to improve economic conditions in west Louisville.

Led by national representatives of the American Institute of Architects, the SDAT is a results-driven community design program based on the principles of interdisciplinary solutions, objectivity, and public participation. SDAT combines local resources with the expertise of a multidisciplinary team of nationally recognized AIA professionals who volunteer their time to identify ways to encourage desirable change in a community.

Sustainable urban community development requires broad public support and ownership. This is accomplished by engaging a wide range of stakeholder viewpoints in decision-making. This is an opportunity to engage with a national team of urban design professionals and help effect economic transformation of an important segment of our community.
