The Community Institute is a great opportunity for youth workers, educators, parents and community leaders of all kinds. Through our highly successful, hands on approach, participants will learn the essential components of
de-escalating and resolving conflicts:

• Affirmation - Learn to build community and respect diversity with youth, co-workers, friends and family

• Communication -Learn to actively listen to another person's side of the story, as well as, speak assertively when telling your side of the story

• Cooperation - Learn how to problem solve and work in teams through interactive games and activities

Training hours are 8:30am - 3:00pm and the fee is $250 per person or $225 each for a team of two or more. Daily continental breakfast and lunch included. Training will be held at Peace Ed's offices located at 318 W. Kentucky Street (inside Central Presbyterian Church). Registration required. Deadline to register is February 12th.
