March is National Youth Violence Prevention Month, and we want to help you to realize the possibilities that you have to help add to the violence prevention wave. We encourage you to put on your thinking caps, tap into your creativity and consider what you can do to prevent youth violence and then share your idea(s) with us! We encourage youth to submit proposals/ideas in the following formats: songs, poems, videos, graphic arts, drawings, paintings, essays and other creative methods. The challenge will culminate on Friday, April 8th at 5:00 pm in celebration of the launch of our One Love Louisville: Youth Edition.

Ideas should highlight one of the following themes:
Justice, Resolution, Forgiveness, Community, Tolerance, Safety, Hope, Peace, Love, Unity, Respect

Participants must be between the ages of 8-18yrs of age and live in the Louisville/Jefferson County area. Both
individuals and groups are welcome to enter the contest. The deadline to submit ideas/proposals is Wednesday, April 6th at 5:00 pm. To submit your idea/proposal please mail to: Office for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods
