The Louisville Urban League will host its newest entrepreneurial information session entitled “The Small Business Round-Up” on Saturday January 10th from noon to 3pm. Attendees will be exposed to over 10 different organizations representing community based organizations, financial institutions and Louisville Metro offices who assist local residents with starting their own business.
A panel discussion and display vendors will offer prospective small business owners the information necessary to connect with some of Louisville most innovative small business resources.
Organizations such as Community Ventures Corporation, the Kentucky Small Business Administration, Legal Aid Society of Louisville, Fifth Third Bank and many others will be in attendance sharing programs, resources and services available to residents who are interested in pursuing self-employment.
The Louisville Urban League’s Center for Workforce Development will be hosting the event with the intention of exposing the general public to a wide range of community resources and programs to either start a business or support existing businesses.
The information session is open to the public but seats are limited so all interested participants should RSVP to reserve seating by contacting the Louisville Urban League at 502-566-3371 or for more information.
