Anderson’s paintings explore conflicts of gender and power that are both timeless and timely, merging ancient Greek mythology with contemporary gender issues. Jassim's work incorporates equine imagery with ancient Persian calligraphy, exploring the theme of immigration. Brossart's works feature Louisville's lesser known landmarks to present a personality of the city not always presented to tourists or in the media.
