LIFT Tax Conversation w/ Mayor

Please arrive by 7:45AM for signing in, coffee and conversation. The program with the Mayor will begin at 8AM.
Mayor Greg Fischer will brief CNPE members, and other local nonprofit organizations, on the importance of the Local Investments for Transformation (LIFT) tax option to improve our community’s future.
Many of the nonprofit sector’s interests related to the “common good” of the community might benefit from thoughtful investments into our community’s social infrastructure – if the community can gain the option to exercise that choice.
A few other nonprofit sector policy and legislative priorities will also be discussed following the Mayor's comments.
