The 3rd Annual Portland Art & Heritage Fair
Saturday, October 08, 2016, 10:00am - 06:00pm

The Portland Art & Heritage Fair - Saturday, October 8, 2016, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., throughout the Portland neighborhood - brings a lineup of arts, crafts,
music, food and active fun. Founded by neighborhood volunteers from Portland Now, the PAHF’s mission continues: To promote a strong sense of community in the neighborhood and showcase the many positive aspects of Portland. A unique feature of the 2016 Portland Art & Heritage Fair is the placement of different activities throughout the neighborhood. The Portland neighborhood is geographically large. The PAHF strives to give visitors a range of reasons to visit, including a place to sit, active fun, art to enjoy, music to hear, food to eat, history to experience, and people to meet. A complimentary trolley shuttle will loop the neighborhood with stops at the anchor sites throughout the day. Parking is available at the Family Health Center (2215 Portland Ave) and across the street at the Louisville Metro Dream Center (617 Carter Street).

Arts & Crafts

Louisville Visual Art (1538 Lytle Avenue) will open the juried art exhibition with the theme: METAMORPHOSIS. The exhibit will feature 21 artist submissions. Craft booths will be located at Love City, Inc. (344 N. 26th Street).

Heritage & History

Louisville Bicycle Tours has designed a bike tour through the Portland neighborhood. The cost is FREE. Guests are invited to bring their own bikes, however, and Louisville Bicycle Tours will have 15 bikes to loan out for each tour.

Just for Kids

Kids can enjoy old-fashioned fun all day on the lawn of the Portland Family Health Center.

Entertainment & Food

Music, food and the first-ever Portland Cornhole Cup will be located at CoreDesign (1612 Portland Avenue).
