What is the Black Media Collaborative?

The BMC is a network of directors, producer, writers, and specialty working in the film, television, photography, radio, music, animation, theatre, literature, journalism and the internet working to tell their stories across multiple media platforms and formats.

Mission

BMC is dedicated to developing media literacy and skilled people in production and distribution of innovative media. It is dedicated to the underserved and underrepresented population in our community, particularly our youth.

Vision

Through artistic and creative media, BMC will cultivate, preserve and sustain knowledge of Black heritage and culture.
